چکیده
Background: Simulation studies present an important statistical tool to investigate the performance, properties, and adequacy of models in pre-specified situations. The proportional hazards model survival analysis is one most medical studies. This study aimed underlying one-month road traffic accident (RTA) victims a Level 1 Trauma Center Iran using parametric semi-parametric from viewpoint post-crash care-provider 2017. Materials Methods: retrospective cohort (restudy) was conducted at Level-I Shiraz, Iran, January December Considering fact that certain covariates acting on may take non-homogenous risk pattern leading violation assumption Cox-PH, modeling employed inspect multiplicative effect all hazard. Distributions choice were Exponential, Weibull Lognormal. Parameters estimated Akaike Results: Survival 8,621 individuals for whom length stay (observation period) between 89 days. In total, 141 death occurred during this time. log-rank test revealed inequality functions across various categories age, injury mechanism, injured body region, severity score, nosocomial infections. Although level Cox almost same as results models, multivariate yields better results, according criterion. Conclusion: analysis, more efficient than other models. Some similar both general, among them

Section 1 demonstrates the connection between the Brier Score in the absence of censoring versus the inverse probability-of-censoring weighted Brier Score. Section 2 derives the meansquared error decomposition presented in Section 3 of the main paper, and presents illustrations and examples regarding the impact of candidate survival models on performance. In addition, a simple example illustrat...
متن کاملCombining parametric, semi-parametric, and non-parametric survival models with stacked survival models.
For estimating conditional survival functions, non-parametric estimators can be preferred to parametric and semi-parametric estimators due to relaxed assumptions that enable robust estimation. Yet, even when misspecified, parametric and semi-parametric estimators can possess better operating characteristics in small sample sizes due to smaller variance than non-parametric estimators. Fundamenta...

Introduction: There is a lack of information on the extent of dependency between chronic diseases and the survival rate of breast cancer. Until date, none of the models proposed has determined the impact of chronic diseases on breast cancer survival. This study, therefore, aimed to investigate the impacts of chronic diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure, and endocrine di...
